Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park – Karatu

Your adventure begins early in the morning as our Mi-Adventures Safari guide picks you up from your hotel in Arusha. After a short briefing, you will set off for Tarangire National Park, a scenic two-hour drive through Maasai villages and open landscapes.

Upon arrival, you’ll embark on a game drive through the park, known for its vast elephant herds, towering baobab trees, and diverse wildlife. Tarangire is home to lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, and over 500 bird species, making it a paradise for nature lovers and photographers. You’ll enjoy a picnic lunch in the park while taking in the beautiful surroundings.

After an afternoon of wildlife viewing, you’ll continue your journey to Karatu, where you’ll check in at Bougainvillea Safari Lodge, a charming retreat offering comfort and relaxation after an exciting day.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

After an early breakfast, you’ll depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife destinations.

This natural wonder is home to an incredibly dense concentration of wildlife, including lions, black rhinos, hippos, buffaloes, and flamingos. The crater’s unique ecosystem supports diverse species, and its enclosed nature offers excellent chances of spotting the Big Five in a single game drive.

Enjoy a picnic lunch near the scenic Hippo Pool, surrounded by the breathtaking landscapes of the crater floor. In the afternoon, ascend the crater and begin your journey back to Arusha, where your safari concludes.
