Day 1: Arrival & Tarangire National Park

Your adventure begins with a morning pick-up from Arusha, followed by a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, a hidden gem known for its vast elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife. The park is home to lions, leopards, cheetahs, and a variety of bird species. Enjoy a thrilling afternoon game drive, exploring the park’s riverbanks and open savannas where wildlife congregates.

Day 2: Full-Day Tarangire Game Drive

Spend the entire day immersed in Tarangire’s breathtaking landscapes. Morning and afternoon game drives allow you to witness the rich wildlife, from zebras and giraffes to elusive big cats. The Tarangire River is the park’s lifeline, attracting large herds of elephants and other animals throughout the year.

After an eventful day, you’ll exit the park and drive to Jua Manyara Lodge, where you’ll relax in a peaceful setting near Lake Manyara.

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park & Transfer to Karatu

After breakfast, embark on a morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, a lush sanctuary famous for its tree-climbing lions, flocks of flamingos, and diverse birdlife. The park’s unique groundwater forest provides a stunning contrast to the dry savannas of Tarangire. Keep an eye out for hippos, giraffes, and large troops of baboons.

In the afternoon, you’ll continue to Karatu, a charming town near Ngorongoro, where you’ll check in at Bougainvillea Safari Lodge. Enjoy a relaxing evening surrounded by beautiful gardens.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater Safari & Return to Arusha

Rise early for a journey into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife destinations. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to the densest population of large mammals in Africa, including the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard. You’ll descend into the crater for a game drive, experiencing its stunning landscapes and diverse ecosystems.

After an unforgettable wildlife experience, you’ll ascend from the crater and begin your drive back to Arusha, where your safari concludes in the late afternoon.
