Your adventure begins in Zanzibar with a direct flight to Arusha, where our Mi-Adventures Safari professional driver-guide will meet you at the airport and immediately begin your safari. You will explore Tarangire National Park, famous for its elephants and magnificent baobab trees, enjoy an unforgettable safari inside the Ngorongoro Crater, visit a traditional Maasai village and spend the nights in comfortable local accommodation.
The final day takes you into the Kilimanjaro region for a visit to the beautiful Materuni Waterfall followed by an exciting wildlife experience at Serval Wildlife before returning to Arusha Airport for your flight back to Zanzibar.

Your adventure begins early in the morning at Zanzibar Airport. We recommend a morning direct flight from Zanzibar to Arusha so that you can maximize your first safari day.
06:00 – Airport transfer in Zanzibar
Our driver will pick you up from your Zanzibar hotel and transfer you to Zanzibar Airport for your flight to Arusha.
07:20 – 08:35 – Flight from Zanzibar to Arusha
Take a direct flight from Zanzibar to Arusha. Flight schedules vary according to the travel date, with morning services commonly available. Current schedules show direct flights of approximately 1 hour to 1 hour 35 minutes depending on the airline and service.
08:35 – Arrival at Arusha Airport
Upon arrival, your Mi-Adventures Safari professional driver-guide will meet you at Arusha Airport. After a short welcome and introduction, you will begin your journey towards Tarangire National Park.
09:00 – Departure towards Tarangire National Park
Drive from Arusha towards Tarangire. The journey takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours depending on road conditions and traffic.
12:00 – Enter Tarangire National Park
Begin your game drive through Tarangire National Park. The park is known for its elephants, enormous baobab trees, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, antelope and many species of birds. Lions and other predators can also be encountered during the game drive.
13:00 – Picnic lunch inside the park
Enjoy a packed safari lunch at a designated picnic area while surrounded by the beautiful Tarangire landscape.
13:30 – 16:30 – Afternoon game drive
Continue exploring Tarangire with your professional guide. Your guide will follow the best available wildlife areas and help you discover the park’s famous elephant herds and beautiful landscapes. Tarangire is especially recognized for its elephant populations and baobab scenery.
16:30 – Leave Tarangire
After the game drive, leave the national park and continue towards the Karatu area.
17:30 – 18:30 – Maasai Village Experience
On the way towards your accommodation, enjoy a cultural visit to a Maasai village. You will have an opportunity to learn about traditional Maasai culture, homes, clothing, daily life and community traditions through a local cultural experience.
19:00 – Arrival at Unique Homestay
Arrive at Unique Homestay in the Karatu area, check in and relax after your first exciting safari day.

Your guide will drive towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The journey takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours depending on your accommodation and road conditions.
07:30 – Descend into Ngorongoro Crater
Begin your descent into the crater for a full-day wildlife experience. The Ngorongoro Crater is a vast volcanic caldera with an exceptional concentration of wildlife and is one of Tanzania’s most famous safari destinations.
07:30 – 12:30 – Morning crater game drive
Explore the crater floor while looking for elephants, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, gazelles, hippos, hyenas, lions and, with luck, the endangered black rhinoceros.
Your experienced Mi-Adventures guide will select the best areas for wildlife viewing and photography according to the conditions of the day.
12:30 – Picnic lunch
Enjoy your packed lunch in a designated picnic area while surrounded by the extraordinary scenery of the Ngorongoro Crater.
13:30 – 15:30 – Afternoon crater game drive
Continue exploring the crater before beginning the ascent. The combination of wildlife, volcanic landscapes, open grasslands and forested crater walls makes this one of the most memorable safari experiences in Tanzania.
15:30 – Ascend from the crater
Begin your journey out of the crater and return towards Karatu.
17:00 – 18:00 – Return to Banana Eco Farm
Arrive at Banana Eco Farm, check in and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the area.

Enjoy dinner and relax at Banana Eco Farm after a full day of wildlife exploration.

Leave Banana Eco Farm and travel towards Materuni Village near the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. The drive takes several hours, so an early departure is important to comfortably complete the day’s activities and reach the airport on time.
09:00 – 11:30 – Materuni Waterfall Experience
Arrive at Materuni Village and begin your guided walk towards Materuni Waterfall.
Enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Kilimanjaro foothills, tropical vegetation, local farms and village landscapes before reaching the waterfall.
Spend time at the waterfall, take photographs and enjoy the peaceful natural surroundings.
11:30 – 12:00 – Return from Materuni Waterfall
Walk back to the village and continue towards the next experience.
