5:Karanga Camp

Distance: ~5 km
Hiking Time: 4–5 hours

After breakfast, you climb the famous Barranco Wall, one of the highlights of the Machame Route. Though steep in sections, the climb is non-technical and offers incredible panoramic views.

This shorter trekking day allows extra time for acclimatization and rest before the summit push.

Dinner and overnight at Karanga Camp (4,035m).

6:Barafu Camp

Distance: ~4 km
Hiking Time: 3–4 hours

Today you ascend to Barafu Camp, the final base camp before the summit attempt.
