Day 1: Zanzibar – Selous Game Reserve (Nyerere National Park)

Morning:
• 06:00 AM – Transfer from your hotel to Zanzibar Airport.
• 07:30 AM – Flight from Zanzibar to Selous (approximately 1 hour).
• 08:30 AM – Arrive at the Selous airstrip, meet your safari guide, and begin your adventure.

Game Drive & Boat Safari:
• 09:00 AM – 12:30 PM – Morning game drive: Encounter elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, buffalos, wild dogs, and antelopes.
• 01:00 PM – Bush lunch at a scenic picnic site in the park.
• 03:30 PM – 06:00 PM – Afternoon boat safari on the Rufiji River, spotting hippos, crocodiles, and diverse birdlife while enjoying the sunset.
• 06:30 PM – Transfer to your lodge for check-in, relaxation, and dinner.

Overnight: Africa Safari Selous (Mid-range lodge with en-suite tented rooms, swimming pool, and scenic views)

Day 2: Selous – Zanzibar

Optional Morning Activity:
• 06:30 AM – Optional walking safari led by an experienced ranger, offering insights into the park’s flora, fauna, and animal tracking.
• 08:00 AM – Return to the lodge for breakfast.

Final Game Drive & Departure:
• 09:30 AM – 11:30 AM – Final game drive, maximizing your wildlife sightings before departure.
• 12:00 PM – Transfer to the airstrip for your return flight.
• 01:30 PM – Flight back to Zanzibar.
• 02:30 PM – Arrive at Zanzibar Airport and transfer to your hotel.
