• Early morning flight from Zanzibar to Mikumi, where our expert safari guide will be waiting to welcome you.
• Transfer to your lodge/camp for check-in and a short refreshment break.
• After lunch, embark on your first game drive in Mikumi National Park, often compared to the Serengeti for its vast open plains and diverse wildlife.
• Expect to see elephants, lions, giraffes, buffalo, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, and numerous antelope species. The park is also home to over 400 bird species, making it a paradise for bird lovers.
• Enjoy a stunning African sunset as you return to the lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Day 2: Full-Day Safari in Mikumi National Park

Explore the Wild at Its Best
• Early morning game drive, the best time to witness predators in action and animals starting their day.
• Drive through the vast plains, riverbanks, and acacia woodlands in search of the Big Five and other fascinating wildlife.
• Return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast and some relaxation.
• After lunch, continue with an afternoon game drive, exploring different sections of the park, including the Mkata floodplains, home to large numbers of herbivores and their predators.
• Stop at a scenic picnic site within the park for a refreshing break before continuing your safari adventure.
• Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and a relaxing night under the African stars.

Day 3: Mikumi – Zanzibar (Morning Game Drive & Flight Back)

A Final Safari Experience

• Return to the lodge for breakfast and check-out before transferring to the airstrip for your flight back to Zanzibar.
• Arrive in Zanzibar in the afternoon, marking the end of an unforgettable safari experience with Mi-Adventures Safari.
