Day 1: Zanzibar – Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Journey into the Wild
• Early morning flight from Zanzibar to Arusha Airport, where our professional safari guide will meet you.
• Depart for Tarangire National Park, a hidden gem known for its vast elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife.
• Enjoy a thrilling game drive through the park, where you may encounter lions, leopards, buffalo, giraffes, and various antelope species. Tarangire’s seasonal swamps and open plains create the perfect habitat for an array of animals and over 500 bird species.
• Stop at a scenic picnic site within the park and enjoy a delicious bush lunch, surrounded by nature’s beauty.
• Continue with an afternoon game drive, soaking in the untamed wilderness and capturing breathtaking moments.
• By late afternoon, head towards Bougainvillea Safari Lodge in Karatu, where you’ll relax in a charming and peaceful setting.
• Enjoy a hearty dinner at the lodge and unwind under the African night sky.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha – Zanzibar

• After an early breakfast, depart for Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most spectacular wildlife destinations on Earth.
• Descend 600 meters into the crater for a once-in-a-lifetime safari experience. The crater floor is home to an astonishing concentration of wildlife, including the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino).
• Explore the diverse habitats, from open savannah to acacia woodlands and freshwater lakes, where hippos, flamingos, and an abundance of other animals thrive.
• Enjoy a picnic lunch by the scenic Hippo Pool, surrounded by the breathtaking views of the crater walls.
• After a final game drive, ascend back to the crater rim and begin your journey back to Arusha.
• Arrive at Arusha Airport for your afternoon flight back to Zanzibar, marking the end of an unforgettable safari adventure with Mi-Adventures Safari.
