Day 1: Arrival in Arusha – Welcome to Tanzania

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK), our Mi-Adventures Safari team will meet and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha. Enjoy a warm welcome and a briefing about your upcoming adventure. Take the evening to relax, adjust to the Tanzanian atmosphere, and prepare for the safari ahead.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park – The Land of Giants

After breakfast, set off for Tarangire National Park, famous for its vast elephant herds, towering baobab trees, and diverse wildlife. The park is home to an abundance of wildlife, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, and large herds of buffalo, giraffes, and zebras. The Tarangire River attracts a variety of animals, making it a hotspot for game viewing.

Enjoy a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch in the heart of the wilderness. As the sun begins to set, head to your accommodation near the park for a restful evening.

Day 3: Mbugwe Village – Cultural Experience

Today, experience the authentic culture of the Mbugwe people, one of Tanzania’s indigenous communities. Engage with the locals, learn about their daily lives, and witness traditional dances and storytelling. This enriching cultural visit offers a unique insight into Tanzania’s diverse heritage.

After an immersive morning, head to Karatu, a scenic town nestled in the highlands, for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Lake Manyara National Park – The Emerald Paradise

A short drive takes you to Lake Manyara National Park, an ecologically diverse haven known for its tree-climbing lions, large flocks of flamingos, and the stunning Rift Valley escarpment. Enjoy a game drive through its lush forests and open savannah, where you may encounter elephants, hippos, and a variety of birdlife.

After a full day of exploration, return to Karatu for a peaceful evening.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park – Into the Wild

An early departure takes you on a scenic drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and into the legendary Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti’s boundless golden plains are home to the world’s greatest wildlife spectacle – the Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest and zebras traverse the landscape in search of fresh grazing lands.

Enjoy an en-route game drive as you make your way to your tented camp in the heart of the park. Experience the sights and sounds of the African wilderness under a canopy of stars.

Day 6: Serengeti National Park – Full-Day Safari Adventure

Spend a full day exploring the Serengeti, tracking the Big Five – lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino. Witness thrilling predator-prey interactions, spot cheetahs sprinting across the plains, and marvel at massive herds of grazing herbivores.

Optional: Start your day with a hot air balloon safari at sunrise, offering a breathtaking aerial view of the Serengeti.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater – The Eighth Wonder of the World

After an early breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most spectacular wildlife destinations on Earth. Descend 600 meters into the crater floor, where a self-contained ecosystem supports a dense concentration of wildlife, including endangered black rhinos, large lion prides, and flocks of pink flamingos by the soda lake.

Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater before heading back to Arusha in the evening.

Day 8: Materuni Waterfall & Coffee Tour + Chemka Hot Springs

Today’s adventure takes you to Materuni Village, nestled on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. Hike through lush greenery to Materuni Waterfall, where you can enjoy the cool mist and take a refreshing dip.

Later, visit a local coffee farm, where you will participate in traditional coffee-making – from bean picking to roasting and brewing. In the afternoon, relax at Chemka Hot Springs, a crystal-clear natural pool surrounded by palm trees.

Day 9: Napuru Waterfall & Arusha Town Tour

Day 11: Nakupenda Sandbank & Prison Island Excursion

Take a boat trip to Nakupenda Sandbank, a picturesque white-sand paradise in the middle of the ocean. Swim in crystal-clear waters, snorkel among vibrant coral reefs, and enjoy a seafood feast.

Later, visit Prison Island, home to ancient Aldabra giant tortoises, some over 100 years old.

Day 12: Mnemba Atoll Snorkeling Adventure
